A new week is going to begin soon! Just 2 more weeks to exams and 3 more weeks to a month long break. But before the fun begins, I have just settled my term 2 timtable. Mixed feelings boil within me... Though I should enjoy the life as a student now, I yearn for work. To earn own money and provide for my parents... But I guess... the best contribution I can provide for them now is to PERFORM my student Role well.
Taking a deep breath and embrace everything in stride! Yes. i believe i can do it.
Oh yes! I have practically SURVIVED for half a semester and unknowingly it's the 6th week of school. Mood for fun has to be put on hold first as I am forced to be in the 'SMU'GGING mode now.
3 mid term tests are up next week.
1st: ECONOMICS test of 30%
2nd: Business,Government & Society of 25%
3rd: Financial Accounting of ~10%
After clearning these 3 checkpoints, here comes the 1 and only RECESS week which is supposingly the breaktime. BUT BUT BUT.... on a PATHETIC saturday of the week of break, I am going to have the CALCULUS test in the morning. AND yes.. I have resigned to this fate.
This has been achieved with the following skills:
- Minimal sleep of approximately 5hrs during weekdays and recovery sleep on weekends
- COFFEE for 3 hrs class
- Eating as little as 1 meal OR 4-5 snacking times a day
Thank goodness! I'm able to meet up with Felicia at least during the Friday calculus lesson otherwise we can't even say hi to each other in school due to different class schedules. From my understanding of her Set B modules of Biz law & Acad Writing, they are as crazy than my high weighted examinable modules.

It's the mid of 4th week of school!!! First 2 weeks were crazy. Trying to get into the culture of endless readings before classes in addition to the very "enthu" students who seems to know everything talking the most in class.
A quote from Felicia's blog: 'the thought "Will I Be Able To Graduate?" crossed my mind. After 2 weeks in SMU... that thought has crossed my mind about 336 times (14 days x 24 hours).' Haha.. I felt the same sentiments, especially the struggle for calculus and econs class which were my weaker subjects. Now, I can understand the rationale of having unreachable friends in universities during their school terms. Time is really precious and I yearn for infinity hours.
Fret not, the situation is getting more optimistic as long as you are in control!

Oh yeshh.... I'm just back from SMU freshman camp happening at the outward bound school at east coast campus. It was funn with our nicest facis, Karen(on the first left). Her short de-brief sessions certainly helps alot in this humid weather. Great time galz for being the "man"!!! =D Now it's countdown time for the Bondue camp from business sch.
